Conference Cobbler

This past weekend was General Conference for our church. This is where we watch 4-5 2 hr. sessions that are broadcasted from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, UT and we listen to talks given by our church leaders. Others call it "Church in your jammies" and yes, I did stay in my PJs all day long. It was wonderful - and not just being able to stay in my jammies, the talks were wonderful too. My favorite had to be Elder Holland's talk on The Book of Mormon - talk about gusto. O_O That was some powerful stuff...

Anyway, I thought I would share my Blueberry Conference Cobbler I made yesterday. It's as easy as "cake". LOL! By that I mean, it's made with yellow cake mix, will take you all of 3 minutes to prepare and tastes like heaven itself.

1 can blueberry pie filling
1/2 cup water
1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
brown sugare to taste

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Pour can of blueberry pie filling on bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish. Mix in 1/2 cup water (this loosens up the filling so it's not so thick). Pour cake mix on top of filling. Do not mix together or break up clumps. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Again, do not mix. Sprinkle brown sugar over top. Bake for 30-40 minutes until gold and bubbly! ♥

Sounds super yummy! I'll have to try it soon. I love that the weather has turned cooler and the thought of turning my oven on doesn't make me all sweaty just thinking about it. :D
