The first Q&A was with the two dads of Twilight: Billy Burke and Peter Facinelli. They were a hoot and a half and played so well off each other. Billy has not read any of the books and Peter kept giving him a hard time about it. I didn't realize how much of a comedian Peter could be. Billy spoke a little about his baby girl and when he did his eyes just lit up. You can tell he loves and adores her completely!
Peter also gave us a little Twilight treat - he was asked by one of our own TwilightMOMS, Emilina, what he whispered to Robert in the flashback scene when Carlisle is about to change a dying Edward and this was his answer...
Thanks so much to Emilina for asking such a great question!
Two of my favorite pictures taken of them during the Q&A:

We then got autographs from Billy and Peter. Peter likes to sign his name with lots of hearts. ♥♥♥
Next was a nice dinner break across the street at CPK.

That night we attended the Welcome Ceremony. Peter and Billy hosted and a new group called Goodnight Juliet performed and gave away free signed CDs. They had a Twilight song that totally rocked! I really loved their sound and style. The lead singer was gorgeous! Expect to see more of them in the future.

Next to take the stage was Mike Welch who did a few karaoke songs, once of which was "Bohemian Rhapsody" and it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen! He was rolling around on the floor...it was awesome.

YouTube vid of it posted by Jazzy67962:
After that The Bella Cullen Project performed. I had never heard their music before. They had some quirky songs about Twilight and great voices.
That night we went to our room, snacked on chocolate, crackers and other goodies and then fell asleep while dreamily gazing out our 36th floor suite, floor-to-ceiling view of S.F.

The next morning we had to rise and shine because 7 of us were going to be on a TwilightMOM panel. The theme was "How has Twilight changed your life?" and we each took a different question to answer. Yours truly was the M.C. Our talking points:
How did your Twilight obsession start?
Why are older women attracted to Twilight?
What other fandoms had you been a part of before?
What made you choose TwilightMOMS over all the other fansites out there?
What does Twilight mean to you as a book you can share with your children or students?
Have you had any brushes with greatness i.e. actors, Stephenie, etc.?
How has being a part of the Twilight fandom changed your life?
How has being a part of TwilightMOMS changed your life?

Afterward, the manager of the convention said he was very impressed with our presentation and organization and that he would like a TwilightMOMS panel at each of the Salute to Twilight cons this year!
I was so happy my heart was aglow!

After the panel I visited the vendor room where I just had to buy a t-shirt that said, "...Then Buffy staked Edward. The End." Bwahahaha!
I also purchased lots of fun, yummy smelly things from Essence of Twilight. You can find their website here: http://essenceoftwilight.com/ or their Etsy store here: http://essenceoftwilight.etsy.com . I got the Wedding set and the Forks and La Push room/linen sprays. Lovely items sold by some lovely women!
Then I was approached by a new fansite called Twilightfangers and they wanted to interview me. I had no idea it was already up on YouTube, but anyway, here is the video. I was so surprised I didn't end up sounding like a blubbering fool...
Next up was a Q&A with Michael Welch and Christian Serratos. Someone got Mike to do his butt dance from Twilight:

and apparently there was a prom scene that the humans practiced for but never shot for the movie so they showed off some of their moves they had made up for it:

The next Q&A was with cutie patootie Kellan Lutz. He was a great sport even though tons of girls and women were yelling things out to him during his interview and someone gave him something that is not worth mentioning here but very obscene. He said his mommy would get mad at him if he took it from her. Good man. He also mentioned this really sad story from his childhood about his dog getting hit by a car. He even got a little choked up.

He also did an impression of Rob's run:

That night was the 100 Monkeys concert. For those of you who have never heard of them, they are Jackson Rathbone's band. They so totally rocked! Everyone couldn't help but get down and boogie to their tunes. And there was a cool guy dressed in a giant banana suit who handed out candy to the crowd while dancing with and weaving in and out of us. It was a bouncing, happy time!
All of the following pictures of the band are credited to Ana (smittenc) from TwilightMOMS. I just love how they turned out with the coloring of the forest backdrop and the lightning in the background. Very cool photography. Thank you Ana!

That intensity Jackson radiates as he is really getting into the groove ...

Isn't he adorable?

When he sings he looks straight into your soul and leaves you burning ♥♥♥

Jackson with his cool shades and monkey hat

Again with the monkey hat that my Kirsten had in her hands when he threw it out to the crowd but was snatched out of by some teenyboppers. Grrrr....

* as you can tell I have a thing for musicians. Always did growing up only I didn't marry one...go figure. Maybe this is why I still have a thing for musicians. Hahahha

Shortly after the concert was the Vampire Ball. During the break before it started we went to the posh little lounge in the hotel. Everyone had me get on top of the round seat in the middle of the room because they said I coordinated. =)
Here is my Steam punk style gown from SonicPlayer:

Tierza, Kirsten, Kim and I

I love this one!

Walking into the ball we were certainly a site to see because 1.) we were fashionably late, 2.)we look like a group of hot Volturi Vamps complete with decked out hair, makeup, and capes and some of us with red eyes and vampire teeth and 3.) we are also MILFs or MILBs (Moms I'd Like to Fork/Moms I'd Like to Bite - we won't go there on the REAL meaning of that phrase...you know.... for the faint of heart), if I do say so myself. Yes, I say so!
Myself, Odette(ODC), Amber(Dancing Queen), Kirsten and Kim(mayfayre)

Kirsten as a member of the Volturi and Kim with her Jessica Rabbit look

Sheryl(hobie) and her entourage. These gals had the coolest makeup and hair! Feathers, rhinestones, sea shells, rocks and sand and butterflies were stuck all over them. You have to click on the picture to see the detail...

Kara - isn't she a doll?

Dette and Jess - sexy vamps

Myself with Mary, Tierza and Kara

Even the Hillywood Twilight Parody Folk were dressed in their best.

Ya'll gotta check out their Twilight Parody. It is very cute and has some great editing.
Kellan, Mike and Christian showed up for the ball and went around to all the tables. Kellan gave everyone bear hugs (and even growled for a few of us) and Mike and Christian sat down at every table and chatted away. Now wasn't that just too darn cool of them?
After gettin' down and groovy on the dance floor, especially to my current #1 dance pick "disturbia" by Rihanna (such the perfect vamp song - am I right?), we took more pictures and then I had this adventurous idea to walk over to the Catholic Cathedral behind the Westin (in the pouring rain) and take some truly wicked pictures of us in our get-up amongst the cool architecture. We chickened out and took a cab so that we wouldn't be ruined for the pictures, but when we got there the doors were locked. They must have known vampires were coming. What? We weren't welcome in a church?? How dare they! LOL!
So we had to settle for the gothic arches and doors on the outside:

We trudged back in the rain and got locked out of the back of the hotel but finally made it around to the front again with REALLY sore feet. We thought we would make some good use of the cool black and white Harlequin floor in the lobby before we went up to the room. Why waste a good dress, right?

Just have to show off my cool pirate bow from Cutie Dynamite on Etsy, my necklace from Archeress Arts on Etsy and socks from Sock Dreams.com in Portland.

Had to get the "Georgia Lips" pic in there too.

Then we ordered pizza at 3am and watched Twilight, which you could order from the hotel. =) What a perfect night!
The next morning we went down to the main conference room for Rachelle LaFevre's Q&A. I can't even describe how beautiful and poised and eloquent she is. Many people went up to the mic and told her so and she was just so gracious and humbled by it. She definitely knows what she wants in life, loves her family and is one of those actors who I know will stay true to herself no matter what and not let Hollywood take anything from her beautiful spirit.
Just look at that hair! It is to die for...

Isn't she just a knock-out?

Next up for a Q&A was the super vamp power married duo of Jasper and Alice aka Jackson and Ashley. They were super cute and cuddly, as always, and gave us another twirl just like in the Forks High cafeteria:

They just make me smile =)

Could a woman be any more beautiful than Ashley? I don't think it's possible. (and totally not fair!)

Someone asked Jackson if he had a happy dance:

After the Q&A we stood in line for photos with Jackson. Kirsten and I wanted him to have a MILB sandwich =)

Then it was off to get Rachelle's, Jackson's and Ashley's signatures. I had Ashley sign my Twilight book where Alice finally meets Bella, Rachelle signed where Victoria was introduced during the baseball scene and Jackson signed at the end of chapter 19. ;-)
All in all, we didn't want to leave for all the fun reasons above but mostly because of the company of fellow TwilightMOMS in our group. These ladies are fantastic, make great roomies and really know how to party.
Thanks gals!
And thank you to Creation for a fabulous event!
